AcuteCare is staffed by specially trained physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, as well as experienced nurses, lab and X-ray technicians. Typical problems treated include wounds requiring stitches, minor burns, sprains, minor fractures, infections, rashes, bites, flu, sore throats, ear aches, and most conditions that need same-day attention.
uick Care
An appointment is never needed. With onsite laboratory and radiology departments, most all conditions can be diagnosed and treated at the time of your visit. AcuteCare hours are:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
There are two kinds of patients at AcuteCare. Many patients are those who need care at a time that is convenient to them. Usually, these patients do not want to miss work and prefer the extended hours of AcuteCare. The other type of patient is one that has suffered a non-life-threatening injury. It's quicker and more economical to be treated at AcuteCare.
